We are delighted to be sponsoring this exciting new initiative which aims to provide a platform for Bioarchaeology Early Career Researchers (ECR’s) to showcase their work.
The Bioarchaeology Early Career Conference offers a unique opportunity to hear about the research of leading bioarchaeologists and for aspiring bioarchaeologists and ECR’s to strengthen connections within the bioarchaeology community. This online event will take place between the 25th – 28th March 2021. Check out the BECC website here for more information.
ScARF have a limited number of bursaries available to cover the £25 registration fee for people struggling with additional costs. If you are a bioarchaeology student or ECR with research interests in an aspect of Scottish archaeology and would like to attend this conference – apply for this bursary now!
To apply, please email ScARF Project Manager Helen Spencer (helen@socantscot.org) with a few lines about yourself and how you will benefit from attending, along with a short reference from a lecturer/supervisor. As with previous ScARF Student Bursaries, all we ask in return is a short report about your experience – describing your highlights and how it will help your research (and a nice photo of yourself!).
*The deadline for applications is 28th February 2021*
Reports by previous ScARF supported students can be found here!
